Children are always learning and absorbing information. Making sure that they have good oral health habits from a young age can set them up for life. It depends on the child, but we recommend that children have their first dental visit at some point between the time that they get their first tooth and 24 months of age.
With children, we check their teeth and clean them if necessary. In the earlier years, it’s important to make sure they have positive dental experiences as much as possible. Dr Kim and Dr Eng both work with kids to make them feel welcome and comfortable at the dentist.
Young kids sometimes require a lot of treatment, they may have tooth decay or they may also have developmental issues with their teeth and their enamel. In these cases, we work with specialists to make sure that they receive the right care in a comfortable environment. We also work with orthodontists if they need braces to make sure they receive the correct orthodontic treatment at the right time.
